The inspiration for this chair came from “Mikado”, a pick-up sticks game which originated in Europe. A total of 7 round wooden sticks (φ18) placed obliquely support the heavy piece of acrylic. Stick chair unique structural was developed after many attempts to achieve an “unbalanced balance”.
