Childhood memories in SSD furniture collection
Rui Docouto’s (President & Creative Director of SSD) “childhood memories” continues to sense, capture, interpret and apply on SSD’s 2009 pieces of furniture collection.
Rui’s 2009 pieces are excited to be participating in the Salone Satellite at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan, Italy which will take place from April 22-27, 2009.
And a collaboration with 100% Brooklyn Design, a PR-Marketing and Distribution company formed by Nahid Rupani, will be responsible for all press materials, inquires, and sales of the “Childhood Memories” collection.

Why are they Site Specific Design? Since 2002 New York based Site Specific Design has been creating Site Specific Projects such as restaurants, bars, cafe’s, boutique’s, corporate offices and residentials for various clients.
They design and custom build interiors and furniture to clients vision and budget. Projects have varied in scale, challenged in design and construction but all executed with craftsmanship and dedication that is an integral part of Site Specific Design.

Since 2002 Brooklyn based SSD has been creating Site Specific Projects in NYC for high-end Architectural and Interior Design firms. They Design and custom build interiors and furniture to client’s preference/vision and budget. Projects have varied in scale, challenged in design and construction but all executed with craftsmanship and dedication that is an integral part of Site Specific Design. In 2007 President/Creative Director Rui Docouto created Childhood Memories, SSD’s own furniture and lighting collection.
