Connect2Earth trying to create the awareness with a gift
Two of the world’s global environmental network, the World Wildlife Fund and the International Union for Conservation of Nature are trying to get more awareness about the future of planet earth and to protect the nature and wildlife.
With a support from one of the world leading communication gadget producer, they create a competiton with connect2earth site. Once again, the purpose is very good one but with something to win from it, I was a little bit of worried that they will be failed to deliver the real message.
For example, this what they are looking for by creating the site and competition:
Ok, so what do we actually want to add to this site? Images, text and film sure. But of what? Skateboarding dogs, surfing cats, embarrassing moments or enlightened Ninjas? Well, not this time. connect2earth is a little different. We’re about providing a space for you to tell the world why you care about the environment and why it should be protected.
So, what they got so far? Below are the examples of the category and the submission for that category which is (sadly) got more attention than any other really useful entry. You’ll be the judge now
My Opinion - Stand up, speak out and start saving the planet.

Sustainable transport - Reduce driving and start busing or biking! Mass transit is the key to environmentally-friendly transportation solutions.

Waste & Pollution - Garbage, garbage everywhere. For a cleaner and healthier plant, reduce your waste!

The lists are can be very long to display in here, but I do really hope that this great campaign will be successful and at least starting from the competition like this, we are all will be more care and start protecting the only place that we can live in (so far)…the earth.
If you have any materials that will be more fit with their categories, please submit it or tell your friends about the campaign. Visit Connect2Earth site to join and submit your own original piece of work, and let’s start build global awareness. Good luck!
