DesignEd Asia Conference in HongKong, December 9-10th 2008
In its fourth year and due to its success in 2007, the conference scale has been expanding to provides a practical platform to bring international design educators and professionals together to share views, knowledge and experiences.

Every year this conference attracts hundreds of international academics, design educators, practicing designers, executives, marketing professionals and design students. Also will be a 2-day programme featuring presentations, round-table discussions, and paper presentations.
With this year’s theme “Culture as Inspiration”, prominent speakers and researchers from around the world will be attending to discuss culture in design and other current issues related to design education.
Organized by HK Design Centre, and supported by HK Trade Development Council, and Innovation and Technology Commission of the Government of the Hong Kong SAR with Business of Design Week (BoDW), one of the biggest and well-recognized annual design events of its kind in Asia.
Jointly organized by School of Design of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong Design Institute (member of VTC Group) and Hong Kong Design Centre, the conference will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, December 9 – 10, 2008 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
