DMY Berlin, a design platform to promoting national and international exchanges in design. Starting in 2003, DMY Berlin produces and curates design exhibitions and organises the now widely acclaimed DMY International Design Festival Berlin.

And to continuous the international exchange projects from October 4th the works of 18 Berlin designers and design collectives will be shown at four design fairs and festivals in Taiwan, Korea and Japan via the DMY Asia Exhibition Tour.

Notes tower “Babel”

Babel will turn your desk mess into a gorgeous geometrical arrangement. Crafted on the edge of the black forest using local woods.

Tickets, invitations, receipts, certificates of warranty, letters of complaint etc. will slip into a safe place in one of Babel’s five slots.

Lighting prototype “Flake”

The feathery lamp FLAKE plays with the struture and translucid surface of styrofoam by turning it, contrary to the accepted usage of the packaging industry, into a new spacious context.

The effect is increased when the light is turned on, underlining the form’s sharp-edged lines.

Architectural panels “Prosolve370e”

A decorative architectural tile from Elegant Embellishments, can be installed on facades to effectively reduce air pollution.

As a modification to existing surfaces, the tiles essentially “tune buildings” to respond better to their immediate environments.

Table/bedside lamp “Left or Right”

Table and wall lamp with a shelf that fits in any time, anywhere. Intended as a bedside light she frames the bed in a left and right variant.

On desks it functions as a shelf for all sorts of utensils and in shops it provides just the right lighting for the products on display, available in a left and right variant and powder coated in white, black and red.

POMP is established by Andrea Pößnicker in cooperation with ARTE from Belgium. World-wide fashion & retail stores, hotels, entry halls, restaurants, clubs, museums, board rooms etc. have changed into the mood of a modern castle and seduction by applying POMP.
