The challenge is to design luxury creations for fine jewellery and bejewelled eyewear using Swarovski Elements Passion Topaz® Jewellery, also stimulate the markets to reach for the true meaning of luxury.

Inspired by the passion for colour and the natural love affair with the beauty of gemstones and innovation, two design directions for jewellery and bejewelled eyewear have been chosen to challenge the extremes of our daily lives.

Participants will have the possibility to either, upload their own Fine Jewellery and/or bejewelled eyewear design(s) or use the toolkit to virtually configure a pendant of expression, style and imagination.

All submitted freely created designs will be judged by professional jury comprised of international experts and designers will determine the winning designs to win cash prizes amounting to a total of 6,000 Euros.

Participants that submit the designs prior to November 30th, 2008 have the chance to have their design presented at BASELWORLD, held in Basel, Switzerland, from March 26th – April 2nd, 2009, and/or in Swarovski’s Annual Trend book “Gem Visions”. For more information please go to competition site.
