Furniture from recycled plastic by Re-Form
Re-Form furniture products are designed by using simple technologies and sustainable materials that hopefully have a minimal effect on the environment.
Their range of product is still on developing process and research as the environmental friendly materials and technologies continues.
Using waste plastic as the main material for furniture product instead of being a major contributor to the pollution of our planet, Re-Form turned plastic waste into a remarkable strong, stylish and durable sheet material that gives a unique character.
The use of glue in the construction process are kept to minimum and where ever possible the furniture components are held together with fixings which allow easy dissassembly for repair or recycling.
Re-Form Chair
The Re-Form was the first chair in the range. Designed to be used in a variety of situations, it is light and durable, and will stack up to three high, and can be made in a number of brightly coloured recycled plastics.
Alt & Alt Easy Chair
The Alt Chair is the result of significant research into ecological design. Intended for use in a wide range of situations from informal to semi-formal, it is a light durable chair.
It can be made from brightly coloured recycled polyethelene, or the more neutral polystyrene.

Anything one can do to help protect our fragile planet is so important. The furniture in this post is incredible! I am elated to see that when intelligence, design and a passion for our environment merge as one unit such beautiful things can be created.
