Guerrilla Lighting Finland at Helsinki Design Week 2008
Helsinki Design Week 2008, in search of designs that pleasing the eye, challenging the mind, celebrating form and function, with the theme of the year – light – brings light to the city both metaphorically and in practice.
The events being visible by series of installations that brightening urban spaces, as well as a creative light in bringing people together.
The Guerrilla Lighting, a collaborative lighting project initiated in the UK led by Martin Lupton, Director of Lighting at BDP, together with two Finnish lighting designers, Antti Hiltunen and Juho Strömmer stages the lighting installations at the art nouveau city centre on October 1st, 2008.
