Furniture designer who is also a doctor, Henk van den Heuvel went through an evolution from traditional furniture maker into a designer of elegant, contemporary furniture.

Henk, a designer with a penchant for elegant, timeless, sleek furniture has been an active member of a cooperative of furniture makers for over twelve years.

The different backgrounds of the ten furniture makers that make up this cooperative made for a fertile breeding ground for Henk’s diverse techniques and skills. Furniture from the LEF! collection embodies that unique style.

VARIARE sideboard

The Variare sideboard gives you real variety. Variare is a storage system, where various compositions of lines, colours and panels can be made.

The sideboard consists of a modular system, in which the basic elements can be placed horizontally as well as vertically. Each compartment can be fitted with a rear panel, a door or one or more drawers. Compartments can also be simply left open. The drawers have no handles and are opened using a one-touch open system.

What makes this sideboard even more special is the fact that the front and the back are identical. This means that the Variare sideboard is brilliant to use as a room divider.

It can also be constructed in an unlimited number of ways. The basic elements can have a varnished or wooden (veneer) finish, or a combination of both. The framework, drawers and rear walls can have a wooden (veneer) finish in any colour. Various colours or shades of the same colour can also be combined.
