Ice on the Tyne – the Art and Design exhibition in Newcastle
As part of the Nordic Festival Icelandic, 21st November – 5th December 2008, designers and artists are setting up an exhibition in Newcastle with some of the greatest designs and art the country has to offer.
Ice on the Tyne exhibition, organised through Design Centre Knightsbridge, is proud to welcome singers, dancers, actors, artists and musicians from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden who will be participated in the Ice on the Tyne exhibition.
The exhibition displays wide range of arts and designs from furniture by Petur B. Luthersson, Þordis Zoega, Orn Halldorsson, Sigurdur Gustafsson, Reynir Syrusson and Sólóhúsgögn. Jewellery from Alrun – Jon Bjarni Baldursson, Sif Reynisdottir, Sign – Helena Palsson and Brynja Sverrisdottir.
Also there will be a variety of leather products from Ragnar Einarsson, Ragga Olafs, Atson and Fjola Maria Agustsdottir, and Art works from Jonas Bragi, Hjordis Hafnfjord, Laufey Johansen, Steinunn Gudnadottir, Kristin Andresdottir and Gudlaug Fridriksdottir.
