It is worth the wait if you want to believe
After 10 years waiting for the sequel of the first movie and six years after Fox killed the series from their television network, the X-Files 2 ready to make you believe next month. Scheduled to released on July 25, this is the movie that I can not believe myself if I didn’t go to watch it in theater.

Fox Mulder and Dana Scully will make the return of their role as the FBI’s paranormal-investigating agents. But this time, the creator of the X-Files Chris Carter insists that there will be no long-running “mythology” plotline about the aliens who live among us.
Chris said that he has spent a lot of time on the mythology threads on the X-Files TV series and now he wants a stand-alone movie, not that mythology conspiracy anymore. To be honest, one thing that making me the loyal supporter of the X-Files was that “myth”.
The new X-Files movie producer wants to create a stand-alone episodes this time and that would probably included any cults, ghosts, psychics or ancient curses.
And although Carter refuses to give us any clue of what would be the points on the new movie, and their official movie site still make you wait for the updates, Carter told the press that the new movie will be strongest and more creepy stand-alone episode.
He also believes there’s other reason that would make the new movie a big hit just like the first one and its TV series, it is the show’s stars, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson.
“For me, The X-Files has always been a romance,” he says. “They had an intellectual romance that’s very rare and restrained compared to so many relationships on TV. I think that’s what appealed most to the fans. And they’re back.”
I agree. So my friends let’s wait until next month and we will see if they can make us believe or not ![]()

My husband and I used to love watching the x-files. I’m not sure I ever did see the first movie though … perhaps we’ll go to see the second one when it comes out.
One reason that we enjoyed watching the X-files (especially in the last year when the shows plot got really weird) was that one of our friends was on the show. He played the son of the Cigarette smoking man. I can’t remember his characters name though … Sanders? Do you remember that character?

Hi Tricia, thanks for your comment on my post.
Sorry I didn’t remember the cigarette smoking man son’s character, and actually I’m not too keen to watch last seasons of the X-Files because the change of the main characters. In my opinion no one can beat the character of Mulder and Scully, they’re the “Truth” and “Souls” of this series
