Quadratic room and ultimate urban flat by Saunders Architecture
The ”cube” is a flat where volume is much more important than area. This flat is tend to attracting active urban people, or for those who are in the different stages of their lives.

If one wishes, the plan solution can be turned up side down, with the kitchen and living room on the top and a stair leading down to the bedroom.


This flat also can be used by many generation. A flat with 50m2, that can be integrated into older industrial or commercial buildings.


Todd Saunders received a Bachelor of Environmental Planning & Design from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, Halifax, Canada. While doing his bachelors, Saunders spent a semester as an exchange student at the Rhode Island School of Design, Department of Architecture. He subsequently received a Masters of Architecture from McGill University, Montreal, Canada.
Saunders has worked in countries such Austria, Germany, Russia, and Latvia. Currently, the office is working mostly in Norway, and has projects in England, Denmark, Sweden, and Canada. The office consists of four architects from Canada, Germany and USA.
