Raising Lantern from Studio Lawrence, Netherlands
Made as a stackable lamp-programme that can tower and lighten up, consisting of 10 drums and 11 coolies with multiple light-sources. Raising Lantern enables countless sculptural combinations, both floor-lamps and pendants.
Floor-lamps tower up to 2.70m creating statues to light up living-rooms, reception areas and meeting rooms. Raising Lantern pendants form a sky of sculptures above dinner-room, meeting room tables and desks.
Studio Lawrence has been established in order to create quality furniture made by hand. Its founders, Dutch designers Patrick O. de Louwere and Bart Eijking, strive to create beauty combining craftsmanship with the arts. An imaginary treasury, filled with quality pieces for home and office.
