The mystery Head of Machu Picchu mountain
Machu Picchu a Peruvian Historical Sanctuary, UNESCO World Heritage Site and also one of the New Seven Wonders of the World has so many secrets and mysteries that surrounding the mystical area of the Inca indians.
Often referred to as “The Lost City of the Incas”, Machu Picchu (Old mountain) situated on a mountain ridge above the Urubamba Valley in Peru, at around 2,400 meters (7,875 ft) above sea level.
According to local guides, the top of the mountain was the residence for the high priest and the local virgins. Every morning before sunrise, the high priest with a small group would walk to Machu Picchu to signal the coming of the new day.
But what I want to share here is the picture of one of the Machu Picchu’s mountain ridge. If you rotate the picture above 90° counter clockwise, you can see an image of human head from its mountain contour!
