Located at the UNESCO’s World Heritage Site between the Albert Dock and the Pier Head, 3XN’s proposed design for the new Museum of Liverpool will be next to a row of prominent historic buildings dubbed ‘The Three Graces’.

The new building is to replace the former Museum of Liverpool Life, scheduled for completion in April 2010, will gradually forming a sculptural structure with an elevated platforms which is fully accessible and contributed to the public promenade flow along the Docks.

Visible from both the river and the city, the new museum was projected to become the World’s leading city history museum that will showcasing every social history and popular culture aspects of Britain in general and the world through the eyes of people of Liverpool.
